Too Many Questions
“Albert grunted. “Do you know what happens to lads who ask too many questions?”
Mort thought for a moment.
“No,” he said eventually, “what?”
There was silence.
Then Albert straightened up and said, “Damned if I know. Probably they get answers, and serve ’em right.” Terry Pratchett,

First day of September 2016 and the beginning of the best days of the rest of this year – if you:
- First believe it is so
- Behave as if you believe that it is so
- Speak as if it is so.
Last year, I shared these words with my friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter so they might be familiar to you. As I reviewed my posts, it came on my radar and immediately its relevance to this month’s theme was clear. What are some of the big life questions? Are you asking them and are answers forthcoming?
We Have Some Leads
Contributors are all at their keyboards working hard to come up with their answers to some of these questions. Our longtime Contributor, Michael H. Ballard, will kick off with his view on this topic first thing next week. Asma Amina and Alexis Ali, who is returning from a break, are also scheduled with their answers. I will share some of the questions that have plagued me and some tips to get possible answers.
Asked a woman on August 31, 2015, “How’s life?” She was on the job that she had for years, own her home, has beautiful children and a precious little granddaughter. I knew she ate well, dressed nicely and goes on vacation at least once a year. Her response was long in coming.
Finally she said, “I guess it’s okay.” She did not sound as if she even believed that and she most certainly was not speaking as if she believed it.
That struck me and prompted the original post and to kick off this new conversation, here is an excerpt of what I wrote last year:
As you begin this month, be mindful what you and who you allow to speak into your life. Keep your eyes fixed on what you want to see and stop looking for what you don’t want to experience.
Think and speak blessings, feel blessed and see blessings pour into your experience. It might be a trickle at first, as you adjust your vision and tune your feelings to it. Most of all, share your blessings as it comes pressed down and running over to you. As you do, the more it will flow. That’s the Law of Life.
