Stressed? 6 Ways To Reduce It

Live Healthier Naturally

contributorsDo you feel stressed out, pretty much exhausted and sometimes even very weak? If your answer is yes, that may mean that you are starting to burn out.  There are many obligations and tasks that you have to carry out but there is simply no time for everything. Your organism inevitably suffers because of that but there are ways to fix that.

Continue reading and find out how to treat yourself naturally to give your body what it deserves.

 Un-Stressed Living

Connecting With Nature

stressed Spending time in nature and connecting with it is beyond important today. We live so fast, trying to cope with everyday problems. Finding your inner peace is crucial. This can be done in the best possible way by connecting with nature. It will help you explore yourself and focus on the setting around you. Take off your shoes, walk in the grass barefoot and you will feel immediate relief. Go hiking on a sunny day and that will make you feel relaxed and at peace.

Get Physical

stressedPhysical activity is an absolute must, particularly because it will keep you fit and your skin perfect. It increases blood circulation and exerts hormone-balancing effects, which helps:

  • in getting rid of toxins
  • provide nutrition to skin cells
  • controls stress.

If you are not a gym person, even yoga can be very helpful – it will perfect your posture, improve flexibility, and build muscle strength, while improving your spiritual and emotional health.

Get Enough Rest

stressedIf you do not get enough rest, you will not have the energy to keep up with everyday tasks. Your feeling of being stressed will heighten and will inevitably lead to exhaustion and burnout. A good sleep will keep your energy levels high, so it is crucial to get as much as possible of it. Also, your body will renew, regenerate and rebuild cellular tissue while you are getting rest, so do not forget to do yourself a favour when it comes to that.

Natural Is The Way To Go

Home Remedies Are The Key To Success

READ  Donkey, Fool And You

stressedSwitching from conventional to all-natural skin care can be very tough for many women, however, it becomes perfectly fine as soon as they master some of the simplest home remedies recipes. It seems that natural options are undoubtedly cheaper and they often work better. Use coconut oil instead of makeup remover. A mix of brown sugar and olive oil as a scrub. A mix of brewer’s yeast, lemon juice and water for the most amazing acne treatment ever. Nature has so much to offer and it is totally up to you whether you will use its advantages or not!

Natural Beauty Products

stressedTreat your body the right way by choosing natural or even organic products instead of regular ones. The reasons for this are many. The most important is that a natural lifestyle is actually one more step towards being healthier and overall well-being.

What is great about such products (my favorites are Ultraceuticals, Dr. Hauschka and One Love Organics) is that they are appropriate for all skin types, including sensitive one. This is true because all potentially toxic substances and chemicals are excluded from their production. That is why they are good both for our health and for the environment. Going green is definitely a good way to go!

Food Is Always A Factor

Eat Right

stressedEliminate foods that will make your blood sugar levels go crazy – especially those made from white sugar and white flower. Get rid of everything that creates inflammation and puffiness in your body:

  1. alcohol
  2. caffeine
  3. spicy foods
  4. saturated fats

Replace these with fresh fruits and vegetables, proteins, and healthy fats. Besides that, we cannot over emphasize the importance of enough water intake. Drinking a minimum of eight glasses each day is absolutely obligatory if you want your skin to be luminous and healthy. Besides that, water boosts your metabolism, which will help you lose some extra pounds faster.

Your Body Doesn’t Deserve To Be Stressed

Your body deserves to be treated with respect. Is there a better way to do it than doing it naturally? We don’t think so! Living closely connected to nature can be only an advantage in a hectic world we live in, so give your best and live according to it. Your body will be grateful for that.

  1. I exercise, I listen to music, Meditate and Go do some fun stuff. If all is not working I simply go outside in my bare feet and literally walk around appreciating everything. It always works for me. We were not created for stress, so we must avoid it! Great tips you gave here Claudette 🙂

  2. Great advice and quite wise. Some of the things you mentioned I am aware of but sometimes you are too tired or too lazy to do the right thing and eat right, exercise and relax. I need to read your blog more often, thank you.

Sometimes things get really hard, but at the end the only important thing is to know your priorities and focus on them. You shouldn’t waste your energy on unimportant things or people.

        Yes, Zara, yes!!! 🙂

  4. Rest and Food always seem to be my most common solutions to any stress. I get hungry when I’m upset and I get upset when I’m tired. Great tips!

  5. I used to stress out so so so much, but I have since had a mindset change, and really do NOT sweat the small stuff. I think the only time I ever “stress” is when I am moody/PMSy, but even then… Not too badly.

I like your attitude! I believe that we should sort out things that deserve our time, attention and energy. Everything else just comes and goes away. No need to stress out about unimportant people or things. But people usually find out this the hard way.

  8. We are all products of nature and hence the answer to most of our problems and issues, physical, mental or spiritual lie with Nature. No wonder Nature is referred to as Mother Nature.

No wonder indeed, Vyjay! She takes care of us, have provided for us and will always look after us. 🙂

Stress is a feeling we can’t avoid but we can definitely get rid of it easily, it’s up to us on how we deal with it. I normally give myself time to breathe and relax. Most of the time, music is enough but if the stress doesn’t go away, I try to meditate and then think of all the good things that has happened during the day.

    1. Ms Claudette

Unless of course, the stress was the day 🙁 I get you Elizabeth and I so agree…just pulling your legs. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  10. Stress…ohhhhh…..yes! My 7-year-old has me taking her yoga class every evening, and I MUST say, it is helping me reduce my stress levels. Stress isn’t healthy for anyone and we must indeed take a moment or two for ourselves.

      1. Yes, she loves it and she’s my little instructor. She just started herself a little blog talking about her love for yoga. She plans out our workouts each day. I must admit, it has helped me reduce stress.

Great tips to unstress our lives. Taking care of ourselves should be a priority and we oft disregard our own needs.

    1. Ms Claudette

Sadly, we very often do neglect taking care of ourselves. Glad you liked Zara’s tips.
