Rid Your Life Of Toxic And Violent Women: Weekly Roundup

The Answer Is Within

Who said that everybody, everywhere knows everything? If you thought that, you were wrong. Well in a sense. Deep inside of us we have the answers to most of life’s questions or at least have a compass that could lead to them.

Asking the opinions of others and then not appreciating what they say as their perspective on life based on their experiences have often led many of us astray. There are people with good advice and I do hope that you find some of our suggestions here as such. Noticed that I said suggestions? That is what the opinions and advice of others, even so-called experts, are – suggestions.

Many of us would serve ourselves better by paying more attention to the signs that Life itself gives us. That was the conversation in the fourth most read post of this past week.

Most Read – Friday Roundup

Every Friday, I do a Roundup of the most read and top posts of the week, starting from Saturday and I mainly focus on the top three.

“Learn Fast And Read The Signs That Life Gives To You,” was number four and included as it not only is based on “real-life” experiences of mine, but it bears out the point of Minding Your Own Business (MYOB). Some visitors to this blog used that acronym over the last couple weeks and the suggestion is a very valid one.

Keeping your eyes on your own business, is the best way to create the life that you want to experience. In “Life Is What You Make It? What Are You Making?” our third most read and the Monday Motivational article, this very point was discussed. The Self Determination Theory (SDT) was highlighted, especially for those who prefer to have a more scientifically tried, tested and proven rational to believe a suggestion might have merit.

Emotional management issues

The top two most read articles have one thing in common – toxicity. In these two posts, we pointed to the signs that you might be entertaining toxic people, in a relationship with one or – the most challenging case – have one for a parent. We also opened the can to a rotting, stinking pile of worm issue – violence in and by women.

READ  The Best Of November: Gratitude

She Is Not Sexy, She Is Violent: A Hard Truth To Accept” was the 2nd most read article this week and it was well received and described as one that the time is right for as it is hardly ever discussed.

Most read, with one of the highest readership and comments we have had in the two months that this blog has relocated to WordPress was “7 Toxic Relationship And How To Remove Them From Your Life.” Three of the most striking comments for me were:

Neelma Tashfeen will do just that. A freelance writer with a Master’s degree in English Literature and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Neelma lives in Islamabad, Pakistan. She will make her début here next week Tuesday with her first post – “Wellness And The Women of Pakistan.”

Neelma is one of the warmest persons I have had the pleasure of virtually meeting and chatting with in recent times. Obviously we have not met face-to-face but as I listened and read the signs that led me to her, our hearts connected.

Violence from any direction is unacceptable. If we let them cross a line, they will repeat the behavior.

  6. I agree with your post. yes sometimes we could get far in life, if we pay attention and try to be more open minded to other people’s suggestions. sometimes their mistake could be the answer to our problems

    1. Ms Claudette

Yes, that is something I have always told my daughter, to try and learn from others’ mistakes, including mine but go out and make her own. It is through our mistakes that we get the greatest learning, in my view. Thank you for stopping by. 🙂

  10. It took me years to let go of toxic “friends”. If we aren’t lifting each other up, I don’t need the friendship.

    1. Ms Claudette

I so agree with that. Some people are in your life to suck your energy and offer no or very little replenishment.

  15. Stress is harmful and one way to get rid of it is if your friends are only good when they get something from you. Those need to remove and stay out of the suckers.

    1. Ms Claudette

I know exactly what you mean. Someone else commented that there are friends who do not want to see you succeed. They shut or slam it down. Those need to go!

If you bring toxic into your life then it tends to go back out to others,. We need to have positive in our lives.

    1. Ms Claudette

I agree. We attract who we are – that is probably a good angle for an follow up on this post??? 🙂

  19. It’s fabulous that you open up a discussion on topics that truly affect people’s lives and happiness.

    1. Ms Claudette

Me too! She is such a warm person!!! 🙂

  21. I agree that it’s important to remove/reduce your interactions with people who are “toxic”…negative, unsupportive. Sometimes, it’s hard to escape that circle, but it’s crucial to being happy and successful!

    1. Ms Claudette

Yes, it can be hard to “escape,” but if your life is going to be successful, escape one must. It will be lonely for a while until those more matching your vibes arrive. As the saying goes “your vibes attract your tribe.” Namaste
